It is a great pleasure to invite you to attend and to actively participate in our 34th Annual Scientific Meeting, which is for the first time taking place in the wonderful city of Barcelona, Spain.
Barcelona is a lively and cosmopolitan city which attracts many visitors through its rich cultural heritage and modern urban development.
The ESMRMB 2017 will again be the platform of integration and collaboration between clinicians, physicists and radiographers, between junior and senior researchers, and between the fundamental and applied sciences. In addition to scientific sessions and dedicated networking opportunities, we present an educational program highlighting both well-established and novel MRI techniques and applications. Of course, traditional highlights can again be found in the program, such as the Sir Peter Mansfield Lecture, the Hot Topic Debate, and the Roundtable Discussion.
Barcelona is a beautiful, exciting and vibrant city. The Barri Gòtic (Catalan for "Gothic Quarter") is the centre of the old city of Barcelona, where many of the buildings date from medieval times. Catalan modernist architecture has also left an important legacy in Barcelona. The city offers varied recreational options - stroll around one of the sixty municipal parks, bike or skate along the sea front promenade or enjoy Barcelona’s numerous beaches.
We look forward to welcoming you in Barcelona for a memorable congress!
