Led by Dr. Jason Dungu, Consultant Cardiologist at the Essex Cardiothoracic Centre, this hands-on course is designed to enhance your diagnostic skills in ischaemic heart disease, cardiomyopathies and congenital conditions. Through expert guidance and real-life case studies, you’ll gain practical experience to build confidence in interpreting CMR beyond your Level 1 course. Over three days, we’ll cover:
- Day 1: Introduction to volumes and reporting /review of ischaemic heart disease cases: stress, viability and acute.
- Day 2: Focus on congenital cases / exploration of cardiomyopathies.
- Day 3: Valves and vascular conditions / pericardial disease and masses / incidental findings.

- Review 75 cases
- Work towards level 2 / EACVI level within your own hospital setting
- Increase your confidence in diagnosing ischaemic heart disease, cardiomyopathies, and congenital cases
