Welcome
The preparations for our annual meeting in 2025 are well underway. We have a date, a place to meet, a beautiful banner and, now also, a full website to go with it: https://www.esmrmb2025.org/! Check there for the most up-to-date info!
We also have a congress planning committee that has been working hard to create a meeting that will be a great educational platform, where state-of-the-art trends of our field are shared, and a space to network and interact with European basic scientists (from physicists to biologists), clinicians, radiographers and industrial partners (spanning from pharmaceutical to MR manufacturers).
It is our pleasure, in name of the Congress Planning Committee (CPC), and the Local Organizing committee (LOC), to welcome you all to Marseille at the magnificent Palais du Pharo for an exciting and vibrant scientific meeting that brings together the scientific community of Magnetic Resonance from Europe and beyond.
This year’s congress is titled MRevolution. As you for sure realize, this word can be read in multiple ways. MR research is continuously evolving, and we will be exploring its newest trends, but it is also revolving around virtuous circles of technical innovation that advance our knowledge of medicine and biology, which, in turn, fuel and stimulate more development. And, once in a while, new disruptive ideas will initiate a revolution, which uproots our current understanding and pushes us towards novel paradigms.
We will be exploring all this in our three scientific cycles: the Cycle of Technology, the Cycle of Translation, and the Cycle of Quality; and in our two educational cycles: the Cycle of Research and the Cycle of Clinical Practice. There will be scientific talks, hands-on sessions, panel discussions, our well-known hot-topic debate and a brand new hot-topic round table, alongside many new innovations including member-initiated sessions, novel abstract concepts, and even an escape room!
While we can put together many interesting sessions for you, it is you who can make this congress a success!
And of course, outside the scientific programme, we invite you to discover this unique blend of history, energy, and Mediterranean beauty which is the city of Marseille: passionate, cosmopolitan, and welcoming, encircled by stunning natural landscapes.
We are looking forward to seeing you there!
